At Dalmoy, sustainability is embedded in how we plan, manage and deliver our projects. We recognise the responsibility the construction industry has in reducing carbon emissions and are committed to making considered choices that minimise environmental impact while delivering long-term value for our clients.

From early design discussions through to construction and handover, we actively look for opportunities to improve environmental performance, reduce waste and make more sustainable use of materials and resources.

Sustainable Project Delivery

Sustainability is considered from the earliest stages of every project. Our project teams work collaboratively with clients, consultants and design teams to identify practical opportunities to reduce environmental impact. This can include the specification of recycled or lower-impact materials, energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems, responsible sourcing and the use of local suppliers where possible.

Responsible Waste Management

We are committed to reducing construction waste and diverting as much material as possible from landfill. Waste is segregated and recycled on site wherever practical, with approved waste management partners used where site conditions require off-site segregation. Waste management performance is monitored throughout our projects to ensure our environmental standards are being met.

Reducing Our Own Impact

Our commitment extends beyond the projects we deliver. Dalmoy operates a predominantly paperless working environment, encouraging digital processes across our teams and projects to reduce unnecessary paper consumption and improve efficiency.

We are also actively transitioning our company fleet towards electric vehicles, supporting our wider ambition to reduce operational emissions and stay ahead of national carbon-reduction targets.
